Work in Progress Performance Afternoon
Sunday 21st August 3pm
This is a free session. If you have read all of the above descriptions and are interested but either can’t make some of the dates, are a bit unsure about getting up and performing or just have a free afternoon and fancy having a look at what’s going on, then why not attend our performance afternoon. This will be a work in progress performance of some material that we have been looking at in the workshops. You can enjoy the performances and then there will be an opportunity after to ask any questions of the actors, Leah or some of the Biggar Theatre Workshop members. It’s a great chance to find out some information if you are interested in getting involved in the future. We ask all observers to be at the Corn Exchange for 3pm (no need to sign up if you are just observing).
Leah Moorhouse was born and bred in Biggar and performed with the Biggar Theatre Workshop from a very young age. Since then she went on to train in Acting and Performance in Glasgow. Subsequently, she has been working as a lecturer in Acting and Performance for the last 14 years as well as a freelance actor, director and voiceover artist. Once again, she is back in Biggar to run a series of performance, skill-building sessions. Whether you are an old-hand on the stage or someone new to treading the boards these sessions are open to all. So if fancy trying something new, sign up before the 31st of July.
