“Nothing bad is going to happen if we skate backwards. You’ve got to stop being so scared all the time, Miss!”

When a group of schoolkids and their teacher get the chance to visit a roller disco, untouched since the 1980s, it’s a glimpse into a vanished world. Then Miss McIntyre remembers an urban myth from her childhood and everyone is keen to give it a try. What happens next is something not even Taz could’ve predicted.

Join Corn Exchange Young Performers for a night of big tunes, big hair and riotous, time-travelling adventure.

Back In The Day is part of Connections, the National Theatre’s annual, nation-wide youth theatre festival, and is suitable for all ages. This performance is kindly supported by Loaningdale School Company.

Tickets are £7 and £5 for concessions (under 11 or over 65).
