In 1803 Dorothy Wordsworth and her brother William toured Scotland, staying overnight in Leadhills. Based on Dorothy’s journal, A Secret Wrapped In Lead is an unsettling re-imagining of that night. A night when Dorothy stumbles upon a dark secret that has held the balance between life and death in the savage Grey Glen for centuries.
