Daisy Pulls it Off
Saturday, May 18 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm£8 - £12
Please note: The High Street will be closed for roadworks from 6.30pm on Saturday 18th May. If you are driving to see Daisy Pulls It Off, please allow extra time to park further out and walk in. As we understand it the High Street will be closed from just East of Station Road at the West end of the High Street, to just West of Broughton and North Back Roads to the East end of the High Street. There will be no parking on the High Street or in front of the Corn Exchange. This includes local residents. There will be diversion notices on the approaches to Biggar, which we assume will allow local access. We apologise for the inconvenience but this is totally outwith our control.
Biggar Theatre Workshop presents this production of Daisy Pulls it Off.
Daisy Meredith, the new girl, is the first scholarship student to attend the Grangewood School for Girls. The privileged students are determined to make Daisy look bad in the eyes of the administration. The administration has its own problems, financial ones. Daisy wins over her chums and saves the school when she cracks a secret code, finds a treasure and saves the life of her chief nemesis all on the same night!
A long running success in London’s West End, this inventive spoof of English school girl adventure comes to Biggar. “Absolutely spiffing, not to mention scrummy!” “(Samuel French)
