Project Milestones:
• Various consultation events have taken place in the Corn Exchange to ensure the local community’s views on the project are included
• Further external funding applications have been submitted and decisions awaited
• Costumes and equipment have been cleared from the building to allow building survey work to commence.
• Building survey has been carried out and reports submitted.
• Detailed drawings are complete and the design team are currently developing detailed costs.
• The site start for the refurbishment was February 2010
• The refurbished facility should be completed and ready to open Autumn 2010.

We would like to keep you updated on progress with the project. Biggar Theatre Workshop will continue to produce regular newsletters which will be distributed to users of the facility and also displayed in the Gillespie Centre and Biggar Library.
